Fighting for the Second Congressional District
Its Time for You to Have a Real Voice
I pledge to bring 10,000 new jobs in my first few terms as your congressman!
It is time to revitalize our district and create an economy that is competitive to the rest of our great state.
My plan to revitalize the economy in Georgia’s second congressional district and bring 10,000 new jobs consists of 3 main components:
1. TAX REFORM
2. CORPORATE INVESTMENT
3. SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
FIGHTING FOR TAX REFORM
“MORE MONEY IN THE POCKET OF EVERYDAY CITIZENS LIKE YOU AND ME”
I will fight for tax reform in congress to ensure that young and single parent homes are not being burdened by over regulation in our excessive tax code. I will fight for those in our district whose voice has been lost. From the single mothers who are being burdened by our tax code, to our farmers in the agriculture industry.
GROWING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
“INVESTING IN THE POTENTIAL OF OUR DISTRICT”
If elected to congress, I will designate a team and work on recruitment of corporate investment into our congressional district. From car plants, to tire manufacturers, to ag research companies- the second congressional district provides a perfect home to any small or large business investment. I believe it is the job of our congressmen and women to actively seek and recruit new investment in order to boost jobs into our district providing a competitive place to live and work.
In order for our district to become a place of interest for larger business entities, I understand the importance of providing a trained workforce. I will work to build training institutions and develop larger vocational non degree training centers that will provide all citizens young and old the necessary skills to be able to work in any developing field.
I will work with the agriculture industry, film industry, automotive industry, textile industry and many more industries to make the second congressional district a home for many different industries making our district a top place to do business.
“SLASHING OVER REGULATION AND PROVIDING INCENTIVES”
As a former small business owner I know the burden that falls on small businesses. I will work and stand behind bills that help simplify and incentivize small business ownership. I will work to develop resource and help centers that teach new and potential business owners how to use local and federal resources in starting and supporting their small businesses.
I stand against any reforms that punish small businesses, including healthcare reform that seeks to make it harder for small business owners to operate. I will to slash burdensome regulations and stand by tax incentives for small businesses.
PATHWAY TO HOME OWNERSHIP
I stand with all those hardworking citizens of our district that have worked hard and are ready to see the fruits of their labor. I will stand behind programs that continue to help pave the way for those of us everyday citizens, who sometimes struggle to make ends meet, to provide a plan and program to realize the dream of owning their own home.
